big kids play games

Two new favorites in the house, Candy Land and Connect Four.  The concept of getting four in a row is a bit tricky still, but we are working very hard to take turns putting in our chips.  Fun!

snow days are the best days

Oops, spoke too soon.  One more post to be updated...

We had the most AMAZING snow days in Sunriver the week of New Years.  It was incredible.

up to date!

ALERT~ALERT~ALERT~ALERT~ALERT

Grandparents and inquisitive Aunties:
I am officially up to date on the blog!  I've been on photo hiatus since the first week in January.  Better start snapping again.

In other news:
After a thought provoking play-date yesterday (yes, there is such a thing!) I headed out to the teacher store today.  $100 later (and a lot of former career nostalgia) I am ready to set up shop with my little learners.  Watch out world, here come the preschool scholars!

playing dress up

Here are a couple of crazy super hero-fireman-lunch box toting guys.  Not sure what to make of them!

Looks like things are quickly going awry...

time to hit the slopes

Looking like an epic day ahead...
 My powder hounds.
Bull Wheel Riders Unite!
A small complication.
Sooooo tired at the end of the day.
Troopers headed home.

Christmas morning

Oh boy, Santa was good to us!  (Our Aunties, Uncles, and Grandparents weren't too bad either!)

too fast

Excuse me, Big Kid... Where did you hide my baby?

Santa's rations

Cookies and milk for Santa.  Carrots for the reindeer.  And God bless the reindeer.  (Still have to thank God for the reindeer every night in bedtime prayers with Fritz.  He won't let me forget!)

Christmas Eve with Santa

best buddies

Doesn't get much better than a Christmas visit from our best buddies, the Kershner family!

Shhhhhhhh, let them sleep!

The Nativity scene looked just like this much of the Christmas season this year.  For whatever reason, those wise men and shepherds were very tired.  I know how they feel!

W is for Walter

A proud boy shouts to me down the hallway... "Mommy, I made a W for Walter!"  I feel like we are in a little holding pattern, right on the cusp of learning so many new things.  Time flies.
