Our Montessori preschool/kindergarten had their annual art and yoga show and Grandmere came to visit and see the show for the second year in a row. This year the boys were featured artists working with real artists and community leaders in Bend. Fritz was paired with Mytchell Mead (a metal and mixed wood artist-see photo below, all the work on the wall behind them is his) who is apparently pretty well known. Needless to say, Fritz' painting was one of the top fund raisers of the night and it did not come home with us!

lately
Working with Daddy at Backporch.
Babies playing with toes really never gets old.
Highland Elementary's new Winter Olympics Storyline has begun and we welcomed our Scottish alpine racer, Niall MacAngus (aka Wally).
Cooking with Mommy.
baby in a box
This is day one of Astrid's box. Something came in the mail and then the boys and I decided to teach Astrid about how much fun playing in a box can be. And after that morning the box became her perch for the next several months. Who needs a baby bumbo seat when you have the perfect size box to hold you up?

assistant
Meet my photographer's assistant. Fritz. He is an expert at photo shoots, placing stickers and charming babies.
sparkle eyes
Photos from Rally Sunday by my friend Kristin Wills, who is a professional photographer in Bend, Oregon. Gorgeous!
go hornets, go!
We had such a great time on our soccer team this fall! This year both boys were able to play on the Highland kinder soccer team. Fritz got in on a bit of an exception (being old enough even though not in kinder) and of course turned out to be the star of the team. He is so good it is just silly. Wally has made huge strides since last year and did amazingly also. The one week we missed a game all the other parents told me they were lost without our boys! Cue the swelling with pride mommy.
I don't think these guys will be on the same team again (at least for soccer) until maybe high school. Which is crazy and kind of sad!

almost here...
Wally is getting ready for kindergarten! We are all excited!! (Ok, Fritz isn't sure if he is excited. Really he is having a lot of anxiety about the fact that Wally is going to a different school and doing something without his brother. But he is trying to be excited.)

random summer stuff
Wally split his head open in a scooter fall. The urgent care doc glued it back together. The nurse's glove was glued to his eyebrow! So he'll have half an eyebrow in all pictures for the next several months!
Eating on the deck always. And Daddy falling more in love each day with his daughter.
Astrid is patient while brothers play.
Hanging with our Kendrick cousins.
Baby wearing. It's how dinner is done.
