insta video

Found this one on Matt's phone.  Turns out I was there too!

thanksgiving fun

I love this picture.  The three big boys out front, two babies in strollers, my dear sweet sister in law and miraculously a sunny fall day.
I don't want to give any one the wrong idea.  Wally so loves his baby sister and spends plenty of time doting on her.  But the sheer number of photos of these two together tells the story of a special kind of bond.
Falling asleep on Daddy.  Safe and warm and loved.

jaunt to gig harbor

Bridget and I carry babies while Michael pushes the big kids.  Makes sense.

early fall at shevlin park

This place is a treasure.  So much fun to explore and play and be a kid set free.

RIP Xena.  I love this picture of Xena riding in the stroller and Astrid's little toes stretched out.  So sweet.  Xena was a great dog and we are sad for Grandma Kelley's loss.

go hornets, go!

We had such a great time on our soccer team this fall!  This year both boys were able to play on the Highland kinder soccer team.  Fritz got in on a bit of an exception (being old enough even though not in kinder) and of course turned out to be the star of the team.  He is so good it is just silly.  Wally has made huge strides since last year and did amazingly also.  The one week we missed a game all the other parents told me they were lost without our boys!  Cue the swelling with pride mommy.

I don't think these guys will be on the same team again (at least for soccer) until maybe high school.  Which is crazy and kind of sad!

mexico

Phone pics, so not great, but still a record of our week.

mexico instagram

We had a lovely time in Mexico over Thanksgiving week this fall.  This time around we had so much fun, especially golfing with Grandpa Bob, visiting the ranch with Grandma Kelley and boogie boarding.

a late paddle

After church today it was sunny and quite warm, so Walter declared that he needed to go paddle boarding.  And so he did.  Out on the river right below the house.  We yelled greetings from the deck and took (not great) photos.  A quick adventure.

last game

family night

A simple night at home.  Just the way we like it.  The ducks were on (and won), we had picnic dinner in front of the football game, and lots of hanging out in jammies.

trophy

Our last week of soccer with a great bunch of kids.  And our first trophies.  Pretty happy boys.

rock climbing

A lovely hike at Smith Rock with Gramma and Grandaddy.  We watched the hundreds of rock climbers scaling the walls and one very crazy person slack lining.  The last picture doesn't even do it justice, he was on the tallest peaks there, it was totally nuts!
