Mexico 2011

We've been completely spoiled, yet again!  The boys and I had 2 whole weeks in Mexico with Grandpa Bob and Grandma Kelley.  Matt and Cassie joined us for the second week and we all had a ton of fun.  Paddle surfing was popular as ever, Cassie had her first excursion and did fantastic on the board especially with a LOT of wind.  Wally and Matt took on some serious waves.

 WIPE OUT!!!

 Cool guys in shades.

Grandma Kelley got sucked into the "spoil your grandkids" aisle at Costco.  She came out with a tent and this crazy contraption.  Blowing the thing up nearly caused four of us adults to pass out on the lawn, but once it was in action it was a huge hit.

 Fritz with his "girl".
 Mommy gets some love too.

"Ugh, Mommy...enough already." says Mr. Pouty Lip.

 Adventuring in town.

Pretty obvious that Cassie is the favorite around here.

Lonely Quijote.  Boys refused to be in the picture with him.

You have to get a market bag.  Even though Cabo doesn't have an open air market.  (Sad.)

before I forget...

Walter can't say "forgot".  I've been trying to de-code his word for it for some time, but it was always said too fast for me to catch.  Today I heard it clearly...  "gafaught"

"I gafaught it."

pride and patriotism

Uncle Jonathan returned from Afghanistan.  We were very proud and immensely relieved.  He is our hero.

Joshua Tree

National parks really are amazing places.  We only had one morning at Joshua Tree, it was short but very sweet.  Such an amazing part of creation and a lot of fun for rock climbing boys and building memories with Grandmere.
