Sometimes (more often with a girl) you just have to take a few snaps because the outfit is so cute!

mountain girl
Astrid, Mommy and Daddy went on a hiking date to the top of Tumalo Mountain. Oh boy, it is one hard hike! From about 5 minutes in you think you are almost to the top but it in fact took us an hour and twenty minutes up! That was some serious, heart pounding exercise for this mama who has baby weight to work off! Thankfully you are rewarded with the spectacular views at the summit. Our Astrid is going to be a mountain girl, just like her namesake Great Gramma Dorothy.
2 months
Thanks to Auntie Bridget for the month stickers. We missed the 1 month mark, but will do our best to keep up with the rest!

world traveler
Time to get started on that passport application. Mexico bound in October! This picture was taken with Astrid laying on the floor on a big white paper at FEDEX. Hope the officials don't mind her fist pump.
sleep training
Who knows when our remodel will even start... so frustrating! In this family you've got to be a good sleeper (by mommy's royal decree) and so it begins for Astrid even though she doesn't have her own room yet. She has been such a snuggle bug in our bed, so it is somewhat bitter sweet to kick her out. Let the sleep training begin!
birthday week
Birthday week for our boys was chock full of activity, presents, family and sweets. Just as it should be.
The picture below is just awful quality but so hysterical. The brothers, in loving embrace, enchantedly staring at the new lego set one gave the other.
Baskin Robbins ice cream cake for Fritz and a few days later, strawberry cupcakes with chocolate frosting from Ida's for Wally.
The sled hill at the SHARC in Sunriver.
Obsessed with this map puzzle from Gramma.
New Ducks jerseys for the newly 5 and 6 year old fans.

carseat dread
When you have 2 big brothers they drag you around to a lot of activities. No matter how much you protest.
easy livin' at pronghorn
Grandpa Bob and Grandma Kelley spent a long weekend at Pronghorn, so we just had to hit balls at the driving range and lounge at the pool. Rough life!
