nostalgic
I spent much of November going through boxes of baby boy stuff. We are passing on the good hand me downs to nephews and donating a lot. These little scuffed up shoes went into my save box because they just pulled the heart strings too hard. I miss that baby Wally. He learned to walk in these shoes. Oh my goodness he was a cutie. (He still is. But his shoes these days aren't as cute!)
terrible cell pics worth remembering

first snow of the season
We headed up to Tumalo Falls for a fall family hike and found a whole lot more snow than we expected. We were not exactly wearing the right shoes! It was so much fun to watch the boys in that first snow of the year joyful playing. They loved every minute.
the promise
This was the most intense rainbow I've ever seen. Stretched all the way across the sky, with a double rainbow in it's shadow, the colors were fluorescent. Of course the picture is awful. But I don't want to forget the promise.
