We had a lovely time in Mexico over Thanksgiving week this fall. This time around we had so much fun, especially golfing with Grandpa Bob, visiting the ranch with Grandma Kelley and boogie boarding.

big news!
We have a reader in the house!! Fritz started working on the "moveable alphabet" and by two days later he was reading his first book solo. Wally followed suit the next day. I'm so, so impressed with our preschool and have really seen the Montessori way working with my boys. Proud mama.
snow play day
Way back at the beginning of November we got up to the mountain for our first snow play day of the season. It was a gorgeous morning and the road to the lakes was still open (although covered in deep fluff) so we drove up to Todd's Lake to take in all of the white goodness.

A package arrived from Grandmere that included a special treat. The cape she made for her first born, our very own Daddy. Here comes Mighty Matt!!
